Project Objective
The objective of this project was to create representational graphics of an object. Three separate sections of the project progressively built upon the original icons, first with text and then with applications of those designs onto mockups.

PART ONE
The object I chose to use was a Nautilus, which is a type of cephalopod/mollusk, a distant cousin to squids, octopi, and cuttlefish. Style experimentation ranged from illustrative to abstract. The different solutions focus on the most defining features of the nautilus, in order to preserve its recognizability in simpler forms.

PART TWO
Then I focused on hierarchy, type choice, and experimentation in order to integrate words from a descriptive word list into the existing designs. Different designs used different types of treatment to create the most cohesive solution.

PART THREE
Using the designs from part two, I created hypothetical branding identities for each design and added them to the mock-up that most represented that identity.
